"Being of the same mind, maintaing the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose." Philippians 2:2

Our Mission

Our mission is to change the world!  We have never been short on vision - resources maybe - but never vision!

Our Purpose:

We are living "the gospel in blue jeans." Our generation we live in is hungry for something real. That is why we exist as a Relational Church, pursuing love and spiritual gifts with the sole purpose of edification and exhortation and consolation of the body of Christ, the Church. We believe in consistent, faithful attendance of the church “…not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.” (Heb 10:25) However, we believe that the "church" is not a building but an assembling of like minded people. We believe that our very presence in this assembling helps fosters an atmosphere of encouragement by our faithful obedience to the Word of God.

What We Believe:

We believe in the full gospel of Jesus Christ and in the ministry and exercising of the gifts given to the church, all by the same Spirit and practiced in accord with the Word of God which states,

“When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, as an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and one must interpret; but if there is no interpreter, he must keep silent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God. Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment. But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, the first one must keep silent. For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be exhorted; and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets; for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. “ 1 Corinthians 14:26-33

Purpose of Spiritual Gifts:

The purposes of spiritual gifts are for the edification and function of the Church. If the exercising of these gifts does not edify or build up the body of Christ they are worthless. “So also you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek to abound for the edification of the church. “ (1 Cor. 14:12) “Let all things be done for edification.” (1 Cor 14:26b) Gifts are given with the purpose of bringing forth a harvest of spiritual profit.
